Dan Roberge
CEO

For more than 17 years, Dan has been in the financial services business helping individuals and families achieve their financial planning goals, by providing advice on Investment Planning, Insurance Planning, Tax Planning, Retirement Planning, and Educational Savings Planning. Also, as a Group Benefits Specialist he has been a Top Producer with the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan and has won numerous awards for Highest National Sales and Retention.

Having a child of his own with special medical needs has shown him the true benefits of his work. When not helping clients, Dan love to spend time with his family camping, wine touring with his wife Suzanne and adventure motorcycle riding to remote locations around the Pacific Northwest.




Suzanne Roberge

Suzanne works for IGL Financial Solutions specialising in the Sun Life aspect of the business. Working alongside her husband Dan since 2004, she has seen the business grow and seen how many people have been helped through the benefits that IGL supplies.

In her off time, Suzanne is an avid wine enthusiast, loves playing with her two West Highland White Terriers and watching hockey!




Ryan Mulligan




Alycia Braun

Alycia joined IGL Financial in  2014 as a Group Plan Administrator and has since transitioned into the role of our licenced Benefit Services Consultant. She has previous experience working as the Manager at Earls Restaurants and in the financial services industry. Alycia is an avid outdoors person who enjoys hiking, camping and spending time with loved ones. She’s the life of the office and brightens the clients day with her wit and charm (as well as ours!). She’s eager to meet our clientele and will welcome any opportunity to come out for a visit.




Diane Mulligan

After several years of raising her children and working in the real estate industry part-time, Diane joined the IGL Team in 2010 as a Group Benefits Administrator. Diane enjoys working along side Dan as his Administrative Assistant. She assists in all aspects of new group business. On her off time, Diane enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and two children, Amanda and Shawn.

Cheryl Casano

Throughout her career, Cheryl has derived the greatest satisfaction from supporting advisors, enabling them to successfully meet the needs of diverse clients. The most rewarding part of her job has always been making positive connections with clients and providing them with the quality of service they deserve.

When Cheryl is not busy managing clients and their accounts, you will find her outdoors, being active with friends and family, riding horses, or relaxing with a good yoga session.




John Hakkarainen

John Hakkarainen enjoys helping people and being part of a family based organization. John works together with his wife, Faith Hakkarainen. John started his career as a Financial Professional in 2004 with Clarica Financial Services. During the last many years, John been recognized as a leader in Asset Management, Pension Design, as well as a unique understanding of personal and corporate risk management strategies.

John’s unique understanding of Finances gives his clients a deep confidence that he will be able to address all of their concerns and at the same time providing them with proactive recommendations which will enhance their financial success.

Outside of the office, John enjoys many fitness based activities. This includes kayaking, hiking and weight lifting. John also, tries to find lots of time to make many different culinary creations. John and his wife also enjoy, travelling and spending time with their cat Au.




Faith Hakkarainen

Faith came around to this career because of her love of people and numbers. Before working in the Financial Industry Faith worked as an Avionics technician in the Air Force. While in the military she attained her Bachelor of Business Administration, concentrating on Accounting and Finance and was on the Dean’s List.

After retiring from the Air Force she worked for one of The Big Four accounting firms. Faith still felt that something was missing. It was that sense of good citizenship and contributing to her community. Faith wanted more than just spreadsheets – she wanted to help people. From auditing and assurance she went on to work for Corrections in their finance department. Even though Faith enjoyed her time at Corrections she still felt that there was more that she could do. When her contract with Corrections came to an end it gave her the chance to explore the option to come and work with her husband John and to do the one thing that makes her tick – to help people!

With Faith’s in-depth knowledge of accounting, tax and finance – she is a valuable member of our team. Even though Faith is retired from the military you can still find her giving back to her community. She even sits on a local board where she is the treasurer.

When not working, studying or volunteering, you will find Faith enjoying time with her husband and their cat Austin. Faith and John love to travel but some of the best sights are seen right here in the Valley.
